Originally from South Africa, I completed my dental studies in England before making Australia home.
I’m Dr Liza Claassen, an associate dentist at Noosa Hinterland Dental in Pomona.
I enjoy providing general and restorative dental care and working with patients to understand their individual oral health concerns.
My professional interests include restorative dentistry and dental implant treatment. I’ve also undertaken postgraduate training in dental implants to further develop my knowledge and clinical skills.
I believe that good communication is an important part of dental care. I aim to explain examination findings, discuss suitable treatment options and help patients understand the potential benefits, risks and limitations of recommended procedures.
Every patient has different dental needs, and I take these into account when developing treatment plans and discussing alternatives.
I also value continuing professional development and keeping my clinical knowledge current as dental techniques and available treatment options evolve.
One of the aspects of dentistry I enjoy is getting to know patients and developing ongoing professional relationships as part of their dental care.
