G’day, I’m Dr Luke Willis.
Having grown up in the country, I value the opportunity to provide dental care to the Pomona and Noosa Hinterland communities.
At Noosa Hinterland Dental, we’ve brought together a range of dental services and technologies, including digital scanning, dental milling and implant treatment facilities, to support patient assessment and treatment planning.
I hold Bachelor and Master degrees in Dentistry, along with postgraduate qualifications in Implantology and Full-Arch Dental Implant Rehabilitation. My clinical interests include dental implants, oral surgery and full-mouth rehabilitation.
Before entering dentistry, I spent ten years working as an Advanced Life Support Paramedic and Clinical Educator with Ambulance Victoria.
During that time, I worked alongside healthcare professionals caring for people in a range of medical circumstances. The experience strengthened my appreciation for clear communication, individual patient needs and the importance of informed healthcare decisions.
I previously worked as a clinical teacher with the Postgraduate Institute of Dental Surgery, where I helped mentor fellow dentists in implant surgery, digital workflows and minimally invasive techniques.
At Noosa Hinterland Dental, my approach focuses on understanding each patient’s dental concerns, assessing their oral health and explaining available treatment options.
I believe patients should have clear information about the potential benefits, risks, limitations and alternatives of proposed procedures before making decisions about their dental care.
Our team welcomes patients from Pomona and the surrounding Noosa Hinterland communities, and I value the opportunity to be part of their ongoing dental care.
