Hello there – my name is Dr. Hamish Caithness. Originally Sunshine Coast-born and bred dentist who after years of living and working in London, Brisbane and the Cayman Islands, decided it is time to get back to my roots on the coast. I now reside on a beautiful patch of land in the hinterland with my wife, young son and miniature schnauzer.
I have over 25 years of experience in a wide range of complex dental conditions through my fulfilling and exciting career as a dentist, I can offer my patients a full gambit of services, including cleanings, whitening, fillings, veneers, crowns, bridges, dentures, root canals, extractions and implants.
I’m always striving to provide the best possible treatment to every patient calmly and gently. I have undertaken postgraduate education in complex and cosmetic dental courses, keeping up to date with the latest cutting-edge dentistry. I pride myself on my commitment to my patients, ensuring all treatments are properly explained and understood.
I also have a special interest in cosmetic dentistry. I am passionate about creating healthy, beautiful, long-lasting smiles for my patients. I use portrait/macro photography to help communicate with patients and uphold a meticulous standard of care. I strive to provide the best possible treatment to every patient calmly and gently and provide excellent dentistry in a warm and welcoming environment.
