Hi, I’m Vivienne Cunningham.
I’ve lived on the Sunshine Coast for over 28 years and have worked in dental hygiene and therapy for more than 35 years.
I enjoy working with patients to support their oral health through preventative dental care, professional cleaning and practical advice about maintaining healthy teeth and gums.
I believe ongoing learning is an important part of working in healthcare and enjoy keeping my knowledge current as dental techniques and technologies continue to develop.
My approach focuses on understanding each patient’s individual oral health needs, explaining the procedures involved and discussing appropriate care options.
Some patients experience sensitivity or discomfort during dental cleaning, and I take this into account when discussing their treatment.
I also enjoy providing professional tooth whitening services, including Zoom in-chair whitening and Boutique take-home whitening, where suitable following dental assessment. Whitening results vary between individuals, and potential side effects include temporary tooth sensitivity and gum irritation.
Outside the practice, I enjoy spending time with family, gardening, baking and crafts of all kinds.
I look forward to meeting patients from Pomona and the surrounding Noosa Hinterland communities.
